Old stone and amazing farmhouse, typical building of the Tuscany farmers of the 17th century.
The owners are a young couple who love their country and its traditions; for that reason, they restored with conservative policy the farmhouse as to maintain the original architecture and the charm and beauty of the past. Located between Val d'Orcia and the hills of Chianti Senese, the building has two floors: at the ground floor is a large stone hall available only by reservation for the best wine tastings and dinners from the typical Senese Tuscan flavors; and another room with dishwasher, fridge and oven at client's disposal.
On the first floor is the apartment: accessed by an 'ancient stone staircase and a small gallery which opens on a typical Tuscan dining room with a large fireplace, kitchen corner (4 gas fire), small service bathroom with toilet only, 2 spacious double bedrooms (twin bed possible), 1 triple bedroom and 1 complete bathroom with shower.
The farmhouse, furnished with elegance and style, keeps the old terracotta floors and wooden beamed ceilings and is attached to an estate of seven hectares of land and forest, surrounded by a large private furnished garden with private swimming pool, barbecue, sun terrace and a small natural lake.
With its beautiful location is the ideal starting point for visiting the Val di Chiana and Val d'Orcia with its wonderful medieval villages such as Cortona, Montepulciano, San Quirico d'Orcia, Pienza, Montalcino and from there up to and San Gimignano and the beautiful art cities of Siena, Florence and Arezzo.
On request oil, wine and cheese tastings and cooking lessons; the owners can also prepare for you delicious typical meals on request.
