“La Posta” is a beautiful house located in a tiny medieval village of the Versilia Hills, north Tuscany. The hamlet of Fabiano is very quiet, and crossed by alleys, closed to car traffic; surrounded by woods and trekking paths is the perfect place to spend a relaxing holiday. The car parking of the village is ca. 30 meters from the house. In the village there is a little food shop and only 10 minutes walking you can find a very good restaurant. From the village start an ancient mountain paths which leads to the marble roman church of San Martino, built in the year 1000. The beach is ca 12 km away, Pietrasanta 11km, Lucca and Pisa ca 35 km, Florence ca. 100, next supermarket 7 km in Seravezza.
This holiday house was recently renovated respecting the original architecture of the past, so that you can see in the house a beautiful marble stair dated 1700, cotto tiled floor, wooden beam ceiling and a precious marble wash basin. The house is on three level, two of them with exit in a alley of the village. From the main entrance, on the middle level, you take access to the elegant living room (tv-sat, fire place and double sofa bed). The marble stair leads to the lower floor where there is the full equipped kitchen (fridge with freezer, 4 gas fires, dishwasher, fire place). Exit on an alley. From the living room the stair leads to the upper floor where you find a single room, passage to the double room. In the double room there is an extra bed. From the bedroom window the view up to the coast is breathtaking. The bathroom/shower is on the middle level. At guest’s disposal a nice furnished garden, with barbecue, ca. 50 meter from the house, at the entrance of the village.
