| It was a castle from 1200 surrounded by olive groves in the Chianti hills. A very peaceful place for relaxing and yet very near to art centre such as Florence 20 km and Siena 55km. The property was used as a hunting lodge by the famous Gran Duke Cont Miari Pelli Fabbroni when Tuscany was a state of its own the 'Granducato of Tuscany'and when it was capital of Italy it had many famous guests such as King Vittorio Emanuele II. The villa has been very well restored keeping its original Tuscan design and has been made into 5 spacious apartments all with their private entrance and garden areas. There is a beautiful pool where the guests can refresh . 2 km easy unpaved road to access |
