Description

Casa Baffone is a old, independent house of the 18th century, originally a farmers house. The building was renovated maintaining all the original characteristics of the old house.Cotto tiled floor, a wooden beam ceiling, and especially the wonderful fireplaces, which were once used to heat the house. It is located ca. 300 meters from Pedona, a little medieval village on the Versilian hills. In the village there are a food shop, and a restaurant. Supermarkets and other kind of shops are in Camaiore (4 km), a pearl of the Versilia. The sea is ca. 13 km of distance (Lido di Camaiore or Viareggio).
This holiday house disposes of two beautifully furnished gardens. One in front of the house, with view over the surrounding hills, and with a barbecue; the second one is ca. 25 meter of distance, separated from the house, on the top of the hills, with a breathtaking view over the coast.
From the villa you can enjoy the view over the valley of Camaiore. The house is on 3 floors and it is more suitable for adults or families without little children, as the internal staircase is quite steep. Ground floor: Kitchen with original marble sink, nice and comfortable dining room with a fireplace in stone, and living room with another stone fireplace. From here a steep staircase leads to the first floor with a double bedroom, and a small bathroom with shower. On the 2nd floor there is a double bedroom, and a room where is possible to put an extra bed possible.
