This Relais is a luxury residence located in Sorano, a medieval town in the province of Grosseto, situated in the high Tuscan Maremma, in the archaeological park, just 9 km from Pitigliano.
The proximity of the hot springs of Saturnia and Sorano, and its brand-new wellness center and swimming pool make this property the ideal location for a relaxing vacation in Tuscany. Moreover the Argentario coast, Bolsena's lake and Monte Amiata, one of the highest mountains in south Tuscany, are easy to reach.
The Relais consists of 24 luxurious apartments immersed in a wonderful two hectare park, amongst striking oak groves and clean, fresh air. The apartments have been recently constructed, elegantly refined and furnished.
Wild land, untouched natural environment, evocative villages and ancient history, the Maremma with its variety of scenery is definitely the ideal location to spend a vacation amongst the arts and nature.
And, for those who can't resist to the good cooking, Maremma is also known for its food, the typical products are still made using the method of our older generations.
The wine also plays a very important role in the local gastronomic folklore: wine tradition started with the Etruscans. We suggest you to taste the well appreciated wines of the area: Morellino di Scansano, the Bianco di Pitigliano and the Rosso di Sovana.
Inside our village you will find a complete wellness center, 20 x 8m pool, games and a special area for children, a tavern with a beautiful view of the landscape, a typical cellar entirely carved into tuff rock and a parking lot up to 80 spaces.
